Calling Young Perth Artists
Young Artists are invited to join a protest at Parliament House to show our politicians why their rights are worth protecting.
A Bill currently being debated would make it illegal for anyone under 18 to purchase spray paint or a marker over 6mm wide, no matter what it will be used for. There are no exemptions for educational or employment purposes.
So come and show the politicians what you are made of and create artworks in front of Parliament as politicians arrive for the Bill's final debate.
If you are under 18 or began your art practice when you were under 18 and work with spray paints or any pens over 6mm wide (Copics, Posca's, calligraphy pens, oil pastels, fabric markers etc) we would love you to get involved.
